How to respect someone who doesn’t respect you

how to respect someone who does not respect youhow to respect someone who does not respect youhow to respect someone who does not respect youIf you’ve been disrespected by people around you, what are the most likely reasons someone doesn’t respect you and how to deal with disrespect the right way.

“a child deserves the maximum respect; if you ever have something disgraceful in mind, don’t ignore your son’s tender years”

Juvenal:” Satires. XIV”

“the old fashioned respect for the young is fast dying out”

Oscar Wilde: ”the importance of being earnest”

“the English have no respect for their Language, and will not teach their children to speak it….

It is impossible for an English man to open his mouth, without making some other Englishman despise him.”

B. Shaw: ”Pygmalion: Preface.”

“Love’s perfect blossom only blows

where noble manners veil defect.

Angels may be familiar: those

who err ach other their must respect”

Coventry Patmore: ”The Angel in the house: BK. 1 Prelude 2”(Get The Book)

“we must respect the other fellow’s religion, but only in the sense and to the extent that we respect his theory that his wife is beautiful and his children smart.”

L. Mencken: ”Notebooks: minority Report”

Normally people live in dynamic societies with different roles, attitudes, dogmas, values etc… No man, even the saintly and brightest count on the umost respect of his peers much less the whole society.

Respect is relative to what you represent, what you stand for; even the most rational of men or women can’t control their likes or dislikes. Historians have noticed that not one, until now, Political or cultural system can cover the planet earth with the whole heartily acceptance of all humanity despite history’s museum of charismatic, lunatic, cosmopolitan visionaries.

Every human being must accept his niche in society and if he could find a modicum of respect from those with whom he plies his trade and make friends and a sweetheart to marry and a beau to pair it off with him, this is what I call happiness.

“Civilization is a method of living, an attitude of equal respect for all men.”

Jane Addams: ”speech, Honolulu,1993”

But like Mrs. Addams said above, civilization is a method of living, and attitude of equal respect for all men, this, I think, at least, what a civilized person’s attitude should be malgre Touset Toutes.

I think evolution opted for this format to supply a solution for diversity and multi-colored natural and human world; for natural creatures and humans likewise have different palates which value divers nutrient and temperamental elements: some humans finds strange satisfaction in bizarre sentiment as diverse as their culinary habits, some savour belittling or despising others, this state of affairs is rife in human society.

Nature and evolution have structured the existence and especially that of animals and humans in a way that gives, to the studious, a sense of the unfamiliar.

In our local society there is a popular saying that applies to those who lost the favor of society:

“if your country refused you

Allah created many,

And if Quraish refused you

then, verily, Allah has devout partisans”

So don’t be an all or nothinger, suffice it to live in a favorable little world. A world you can relate to, and like the great philosopher Hegel wrote:

“The hand that wounds you

is the same that cures you”

Then evolution in its blueprint plan saw to it that humans develop their moral and spiritual fibers by responding to other’s negative attitudes in positive ways. These are the laws that govern the cosmos. of course, the otherworldly yarn that envisage:

“The hyena and the lamp

shall live together in peace!”

Is a transcendental dream that shows the nature of the here-and-now that we practically live in.

We owe respect to the living: to the dead we owe only truth. Voltaire: ”Oeuvres: Premiere lettres Sur Oedipe”

“when people don’t respect us we are sharply offended ; yet deep in his heart no man much respects himself ”

Mark Twain: “Notebooks”

Mark Twain’s quote bring foreword a perplexing idea that of self-disrespect which implies a degree of a low self-esteem; this means that the personality system has one serious problem. you have to, first, find the devil in the castle, it can mean a persistent pattern of wrongdoing you have to find the deep causes behind this fluctuation in your self-image, maybe you need about of counseling to help your realign yourself around some positive and constructive core idea about who you are, what is your idea of yourself what are your goals in line. to help you whis that, I have created a post to help you to be a better person.
